Meet Heather

S. Lee

Heather is the founder and facilitator of J. Myrtle Training and Development Partners and a learning and development professional dedicated to helping teams build practical skills that drive performance.

Originally from Iowa, Heather moved to Tennessee after college to pursue a career in psychology. As it turned out, the world had something a little different in store. While in Nashville, she began her career in claim processing—first working with Social Security claims for the state and later in the insurance industry. Over time, she became the go-to resource for teammates seeking guidance, training, and support, which sparked her passion for learning and development.

While transitioning into training and development roles, Heather returned to school and earned her M.Ed. in Instructional Design from UMass Boston. During this time, she and her family relocated to Florida, where she continued designing and delivering programs focused on skill development, leadership training, onboarding, and apprentice development.

In 2026, Heather launched J. Myrtle Training and Development Partners, where she now partners with organizations to deliver engaging workshops that strengthen communication, develop leaders, and help teams grow.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time at the beach with her family and spreading a little joy through her other venture, Myrtle’s Sweet Treats, where she shares her love of simpler times—and ice cream—with the community.

Meet Brian

Brian is the Networking and Sales Director for J. Myrtle Training and Development Partners, bringing more than 30 years of sales and customer relationship experience to the business.

Originally from Northern California, Brian began his career working in a warehouse and steadily worked his way up to become a showroom sales manager for a Fortune 500 company. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for strong relationship building, creative problem-solving, and a natural ability to connect with people. His extensive sales background and outgoing personality make him a key driver in building partnerships and expanding the reach of J. Myrtle’s training programs.

During his early adulthood, Brian lived in Nevada before eventually relocating to Tennessee, where he later met Heather. Over the years, he has seen just about every situation imaginable in sales and customer service—experience that gives him a practical, real-world perspective when connecting with clients and understanding their needs.

Brian now leads networking and business development efforts for the family-owned business, helping organizations discover how J. Myrtle Training and Development Partners can support their teams.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time in nature with his family and photographing wildlife and landscapes. He is also co-owner of Myrtle’s Sweet Treats, and runs his own creative ventures, Captured Image Photography, where he combines his passion for photography, creativity, and storytelling.
